There are only two games on tap across the NBA tonight, but both feature some of the league's best. In the late game, the New Orleans Pelicans travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets in search of their fifth win over their last six games. They enter this contest as 5.5-point road underdogs with a clean injury report, looking to move up the crowded West standings.

The same cannot be said for the Nuggets, who have a lot of role players appearing on the injury report. Most notably for the report, Nikola Jokic is questionable with right calf tightness. He may sit out the first game of this back-to-back set against the Pelicans and that could affect the spread close to tip-off.

Still, we've got plenty of props to pair in tonight's matchup. Let's jump into Thursday's NBA same game parlay for Pelicans vs. Nuggets.

The Parlay: (+322)

  • Denver Nuggets First Half Winner 3-Way (-195)
  • Michael Porter Jr. 4+ 3-Pointers (+195)

Denver Nuggets First Half Winner 3-Way (-195)

The Pelicans have been getting it done on both sides of the ball; most notably on the defensive end where they have held their opponents under 100 in three of their last five contests. However, slowing down the Nuggets in this contest will be difficult as they enter fourth in the league at home in points per game at 120.7.

Looking into their points per game in more detail, the Nuggets average the most first half points per game at 60.7. This has been true in the head-to-head matchups against the Pelicans as well. The Nuggets got out to quick starts  in previous games and have averaged right around that number in all three prior meetings.

The Nuggets are 25-11-2 on the moneyline in the first half this season, the fourth-best mark in the NBA behind the Grizzlies, Celtics and Bucks. The Pelicans are 20-17-2 on the road thanks to a recent 6-0-1, but many of those games were against teams that aren't particularly strong in the first half (Clippers, Trail Blazers, Kings, Rockets). I expect the Nuggets continue their first half success in this game.

Michael Porter Jr. 4+ Made 3-Point Shots (+195)

Denver's Michael Porter Jr. thankfully has been able to stay healthy this season playing in 58 games thus far. He's shooting 42.2% from beyond the arc and attempting 5.8 3s per game.

He's averaged six or more attempts from beyond the arc in seven straight contests and throughout that stretch has connected on three or more six times. Tonight he's in a tough spot against a Pelicans team that leads the league in three point percentage.

For MPJ, looking into the head-to-head stats against the Pelicans, he's connected on three or more 3-point shots in four of the past five meetings and attempts right around his average of 6.0 per contest. Look for the volume of attempts to be there and Porter Jr. to help the Nuggets on the offensive end.

Pick: Nuggets 1H + Porter Jr. 4+ 3-Pointers Parlay (+322)
