The Western Conference Semifinals series between the Nuggets and Suns is currently tied at 2-2, with Game 5 set for tonight in Denver. It's an exciting matchup featuring top players like Nikola Jokic, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Jamal Murray, and you won't want to miss it.
For tonight's same game parlay, I have chosen three players who will have significant impacts. I have also lowered their alternate lines to make them safer choices for this parlay.
NBA Same Game Parlay Odds & Pick
The Parlay: (+140)
- Jamal Murray 20+ Points (-425)
- Kevin Durant 25+ Points (-425)
- Devin Booker Over 5.5 Assists (-500)
- Kevin Durant Over 6.5 Rebounds (-340)
Jamal Murray 20+ Points (-425)
Jamal Murray is healthy and is back to his 2020 bubble-version self. The 'Blue Arrow' has turned his game up a notch in his nine playoff games by averaging 26.7 points per game on 21.9 field goal attempts.
Murray has been aggressive and can score on all three levels against the Suns. In the four games this series, he has taken at least 20 field goal attempts in three and seen a massive bump in his drives from 9.9 to 16.0 a game.
Murray's points prop line is set at 25.5 and juiced at the over on most sportsbooks, so taking it at the 20+ milestone feels safe and makes for a great first leg.
Kevin Durant 25+ Points (-425)
If the Suns are looking to steal tonight's game in Denver, it will have to come on a combined effort from their superstar duo; if choosing one, I will side with Durant here.
As a member of his current team, Durant averages 31.4 points per game, exceeding 25+ points in four of his last five games against the Nuggets. He scored 24 points on 2-12 3-point shooting in the one game he missed this number. In the four playoff games, Durant led all players in Usage Rate (32.6) and attempted the most field goals (30.6).
His prop line is set at 31.5 and juiced on the over at most sportsbooks, so taking it at the 25+ milestone feels safe.
Kevin Durant Over 6.5 Rebounds (-340)
Durant has grabbed seven or more rebounds in all four games this series. So far, he's led all Suns players by averaging 9.6 boards per game on 12.8 chances.
Against the Nuggets, coach Monty Williams made a tactical decision to adjust the Suns' starting lineup by replacing Torrey Craig (who averages 5.4 rebounds per game) with Josh Okogie for better perimeter defense. This move resulted in Kevin Durant shifting to the power forward position, allowing him to contribute to weak-side rebounds while DeAndre Ayton focused on defending Nikola Jokic.
His rebound prop line is set at 8.5 and juiced at the over on most sportsbooks, so taking it at 7+ is the optimal play for our parlay.
Devin Booker Over 5.5 Assists (-500)
In Chris Paul's absence since Game 3, Devin Booker has seen an increase in playmaking duties and has been doing a great job running the Suns offense.
Booker is averaging 10.5 assists per game on 19.0 potential chances and has drastically changed his passes made, going up 54.9% compared to his regular season average, per NBA.com/stats.
Coach Monty Williams has also given extended runs to shooters off the bench like Terrence Ross, TJ Warren and Landry Shamet. This allows Booker to play with more scoring options and increases his chances of converting on assist opportunities.
His assist prop line is set at 8.5 assists on most sportsbooks, so taking it at 6+ is safer and a strong way to round up the parlay.
