This article contains predictions for an old game.

The Brooklyn Nets (4-5) visit the Cleveland Cavaliers (10-0) in the NBA this Saturday, which is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. The game will be broadcast on NBA TV.

The Cavaliers are huge 12.5-point home favorites over the Nets on the spread (Cavs -12.5), with the over/under currently at 219.5 points. The Cavs are -900 favorites on the moneyline to win outright, while Brooklyn is +575 to pull off the upset.

Let's get to my Nets vs. Cavaliers predictions and my NBA picks for Saturday, November 9.

Nets vs. Cavaliers Picks, Prediction

Moneyline

Ignore the moneyline in this game unless you think the Nets going to win. But if you want the Cavs, they're such big favorites, you can disregard it.

Spread

The Cavaliers are not only 10-0, but they're a league-best 9-1 against the spread, and covered yet again last night. Brooklyn is 7-2 ATS, which is actually tied for second in the NBA. So here, we have two of the leagues best ATS teams through 10 games.

Over/Under

Cleveland has gone over the total in seven of 10 games thus far, while the Nets have gone under in five of nine.

Pick: Cavaliers -12.5

Nets vs. Cavaliers Preview

I don't love the spread, total or moneyline for this game, but I don't buy the long-term overachieving viability of the Nets. I do like players on their team, such as Dennis Schroder, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Cam Johnson, and I think Jordi Fernandez is in line to be a quality head coach. But the Cavaliers are legit.

Both teams come into this game on the second half of a back to back, but the Cavs were able to pack it in earlier against Golden State because they were beating them by a million last night. They're also at home again, whereas Brooklyn is traveling from Boston after a hard-fought overtime loss.

I projected the Cavs to go over their win total coming into this season, thought they'd win 50 plus games and finish as the 2-seed behind Boston, with an outside chance of getting No. 1. Sure, I might just be justifying my priors, but I think it's reasonable to buy Cleveland's start as more legitimate than Brooklyn's, and this being a better spot for Kenny Atkinson and Dem Boyz against his former squad.

Admittedly, this is more of a lean for me than a stone cold play because of the big number. As of now, I haven't logged it in the app.

Nets vs. Cavaliers Prediction

Cavaliers' props are hard to project because of their starters' depth and balance, but I kinda like Jarrett Allen over 11.5 rebounds.

Allen has cleared this line in four straight games, and just got 12 in 30 minutes against the Warriors last night. Allen over rebounds and Cavs to cover the spread are both more leans for me as opposed to straight up plays.

Parlaying the two, if you're interested, is +272 on FanDuel.

Pick: Cavaliers -12.5 (-110)
Same Game Parlay: Cavaliers -12.5, Jarrett Allen Over 11.5 Rebounds (+272)
