The Denver Nuggets (13-10) and Sacramento Kings (13-13) will meet in the NBA tonight. Tipoff is set for 10 p.m. ET from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. The game will broadcast live on NBA League Pass.

The Kings are 1.5-point favorites over the Nuggets on the spread (Kings -1.5), with the over/under set at 237.5 total points. Sacramento is a -125 favorite to win outright, while Denver is +105 to pull off the upset.

Let's get into my Nuggets vs. Kings predictions and NBA picks.

Nuggets vs. Kings Picks, Prediction

Spread

The Nuggets are tagged as short road favorites on the spread in this contest, and I will not be betting either team in that particular market.

Moneyline

Similarly, I do not have a moneyline pick for this matchup either.

Over/Under

My Nuggets vs. Kings best bet is on Jamal Murray to go over 5.5 assists, which isn't exactly a total prediction, but all of the player props in my same game parlay somewhat correlate with the over. Be sure to shop for the best lines using our live NBA odds page.

My Pick: Jamal Murray Over 5.5 Assists

Nuggets vs. Kings Preview

Nikola Jokic recently passed Magic Johnson for third on the all-time triple-double list with the 139th of his career. Tonight, the Joker will battle another center that is quickly climbing the list as well.

Domantas Sabonis is 10th all-time with 62 triple-doubles of his own. Despite their prowess in filling up the stat sheet, that does not always happen when Jokic and Sabonis face off against each other.

Jokic has four triple-doubles in his last 10 games against the Kings. However, he also has four games with less than 20 points and four games with less than 10 rebounds in that span.

Last season, Jokic averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists against the Kings thanks to two triple-doubles, but the Kings took three of the four meetings.

Meanwhile, Sabonis has failed to reach 20 points in five of his last seven games against the Nuggets. He has been effective on the glass in this matchup. However, in the last three years, just one of his triple-doubles have come against the Nuggets.

Tonight's total is set at 237.5 points, so the oddsmakers are expecting the star centers to have big impacts on this game, but there may be more value on their teammates.

Jamal Murray has enjoyed a few big scoring nights against the Kings, including 25 and 32 in two of three games he played against them. He has not shot the ball particularly well, but he has made an impact as a facilitator this season.

Friday night snapped a streak of 12 consecutive games with at least five assists, but he is averaging 6.1 assists per game this season.

A couple of Murray's assists may go to Christian Braun, who has ascended this season as the Nuggets' replacement for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

The Nuggets are playing at the fifth-fastest pace in the league this season, which helps a player like Braun who thrives in transition. He is averaging 15 points and five rebounds per game, and has a great matchup tonight against a Kings team that is allowing 23.9 points per game to shooting guards.

Speaking of Kings shooting guards, Malik Monk is coming off a rough shooting night in New Orleans, but that snapped a streak of seven consecutive games with 15 or more points. As a starter, he is averaging 17 points and 6.8 assists while shooting 40% from behind the arc.

Nuggets vs. Kings Prediction

Jamal Murray is averaging 6.3 assists over his past 14 games. He has recorded six assists or more in 11 of his last 14 games. He also has had six assists in two of his last three matchups against the Kings. Sacramento is allowing nearly 10 assists per game to point guards, which should help Murray get over this line once again.

Additionally, I will be backing Braun, Monk, and Sabonis as well.

Braun has covered 16 points and rebounds in 19 of 23 games this season. I would not be surprised if he covered this line with points alone, but he has also had six rebounds in four of his last seven games.

If he is guarding De'Aaron Fox, Monk will have a favorable matchup against Murray.

Meanwhile, Sabonis will be guarding Jokic tonight, and that will also keep him close to the basket. He has had 11 rebounds in eight of his last 10 games and six of his last nine games against the Nuggets. Denver is allowing 16.1 rebounds per game to opposing centers.

Together, we get a potential parlay payout of over +400, and hopefully a cash to begin the work week.

Best Bet: Jamal Murray Over 5.5 Assists (-130, FanDuel)
