76ers vs. Heat Preview
The Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat will meet from the Sunshine State on Monday night.
Philly pulls into the contest with a record of 23-55, the fifth-worst in the NBA.
Entering the season, the 76ers were one of the betting favorites to win the Eastern Conference, particularly after they landed veteran Paul George in free agency.
He and Joel Embiid were expected to be the co-stars. However, George struggled when healthy, averaging 16.2 points per game, a career low since his second year in the NBA. Embiid and Tyrese Maxey have also been shut down for the remainder of the season.
The 76ers are in full tank mode, losing 10 consecutive games. Maxey leads the Sixers with 26.1 points per game and 6.1 assists. Quentin Grimes has enjoyed the best year of his career with 14.4 points per game and 2.9 assists, and Guerschon Yabusele has added 11.0 points and 5.1 rebounds. However, Yabusele will miss tonight’s game.
Miami rolls into the game with a record of 35-43. Similar to the Sixers, the Heat have had a disappointing season. Despite sitting eight games below .500, Miami will participate in the play-in tournament.
The Heat are currently the 10th seed in the East, trailing the Bulls by one game and the Hawks by two games.
Miami will not play a team over .500 for the rest of the season, giving it a chance to snap its modest two-game losing streak tonight. For what it's worth, the Heat are 3-0 against the 76ers this season.
Former Kentucky standout Tyler Herro leads the team with 23.9 points and 5.6 assists per game. Andrew Wiggins has also been solid since joining the Heat, averaging 19.9 points and 4.1 rebounds in 15 games.
Bam Adebayo has also added 18.0 points and a team-leading 9.6 rebounds.

76ers vs. Heat Prediction
We will continue to fade the 76ers. As mentioned, Philly is in full tank mode and has nothing to play for at this point in the season.
Miami will treat every game like a playoff game for the remainder of the season and deliver a spirited effort tonight.
The 76ers are also 19-31-2 as an underdog ATS this season.
On the other side, Herro has put up 24.5 points in five consecutive games. However, he comes into this game dealing with a thigh injury and won't be at 100% if he plays.
The game script will bode well for this prop, as I anticipate a blowout that will limit Herro's volume. Our Action PRO Report projects 22.5 points from Herro tonight.
Also, let's look at Grimes. He has been a rare bright spot for the Sixers this season, but we'll fade on his assist prop tonight.
Grimes has failed to exceed this number in three of his last five games. Our Action PRO Report projects 4.0 assists tonight.
