The Philadelphia 76ers pay a visit to the Sacramento Kings on Monday, Mar. 25 on NBA TV at 10 p.m. ET — as we provide our expert prediction and betting picks for today's game.
The 76ers are taking on the Kings on the second leg of a back-to-back Monday night. Can Philadelphia overcome the short turnaround and pull off the road upset, or will Sacramento light the beam at home?
Let's dive into our 76ers vs. Kings prediction and pick.
The 76ers are coming off an impressive blowout win over the Clippers, and won’t have to travel too far from Los Angeles to Sacramento.
Philadelphia's offense has been absolutely awful since the Joel Embiid injury, but it finally put together a terrific offensive performance Sunday, posting an elite 134.4 offensive rating while shooting 48% from 3 in the win over the Clippers.
The 76ers should be able to have success here in a matchup versus a Kings defense that ranks just 16th in adjusted defensive rating on the season. The Kings don’t have a great matchup for Tyrese Maxey defensively, so I would expect him to be able to penetrate and dish or score all night long.
The 76ers recently switched to Mo Bamba as the starting five, which has enabled them to create a lot more spacing by having five shooters on the floor. They should continue to have success in this matchup with that strategy, as the Kings don’t really have any elite rim protectors once Domantas Sabonis is pulled away from the rim.
I expect Philadelphia's offense to continue its improvement in this spot.
This Kings team is flying back from Orlando after a three-game road trip in which they went 2-1. Every game is crucial for Sacramento as it fights to avoid the play-in tournament — currently in the 7-seed but just 0.5 games back of the Suns.
The Kings should be able to have success offensively here if the 76ers are going to continue to start Kelly Oubre, Buddy Hield, Tobias Harris, Maxey and Bamba. I’d expect Sabonis to have some success on the glass down low against Bamba, and I also don’t love the idea of those guard defenders against the combo of De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk at the point of attack.
I think the 76ers defense will struggle on the back-to-back and I expect the Kings to have their way offensively.

Betting Pick & Prediction
I think the 76ers are being a bit disrespected by this line at +9.5, but I think the bigger edge is on the Over at 218. These are both still good offenses and I think that each team will struggle to keep the ball in front of them at the point of attack. I’d play this number up to 220.
