Toronto Raptors vs Philadelphia 76ers NBA Sunday Preview

By Bruce Marshall

The Raptors have proven they can beat some bad teams in the past week. And I'm not sure they'll face a worse one the rest of the way than the Sixers. Philly isn't really "Philly" anymore, however, with a slew of injuries turning Nick Nurse's available roster into something unrecognizable.

Saturday's limp effort against Miami was just the latest in a series of forgettable performances, as the Sixers' skid has now reached seven straight games.

No Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, or Paul George to save the day for Philadelphia either, with recent conquerors including the lowly Pelicans and Wizards.

Consecutive wins over Washington, Brooklyn, and Charlotte have given Toronto some late-season momentum and a sure sign the team isn't running for the bus (like some other stragglers).

Everyone seems to be chipping in for the Raptors, with Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, and Orlando Robinson each leading scorers in recent games. I'll take the points with Toronto.
