I’m still scarred from the Eastern Conference Finals.

It’s why for Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Heat and Nuggets, I can’t pick a side.

So I’m reverting back to a short odds parlay for tonight’s pick, backed by my comfort in these particular stats.

1. Jamal Murray over 23.5 points

Murray has scored 24 or more in his last five games, including 11 out of his 15 during the playoffs. I originally wanted to buy this down even more — I got clipped for thousands on Jimmy Butler's o28.5 points in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals when he scored 28 — but he's going to be a focal point of the offense tonight. I'm comfortable with 24+ as opposed to the market price at 26+.

2. Caleb Martin, over 13.5 points

He has at least 14 points in each of his last seven games.

3. Nikola Jokic, 10+ assists

I’m always tempted to do Jokic points, but his running of the show is more reliable. In seven of the last eight games, he’s had at least 10 assists.

Put these all together on at BetMGM and this Same Game Parlay is at +290 odds.

Keep in mind that parlays — especially Same Game Parlays — are purely for entertainment purposes. They aren't profit making endeavors in the long run — you'll seldom find edges on these sorts of markets. Please gamble responsibly.
