This article contains predictions for an old game.

The San Antonio Spurs (18-18) and Milwaukee Bucks (18-16) will square off in the NBA tonight. Tipoff is set for 9:30 p.m. ET from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. The game will broadcast live on ESPN.

The Bucks are 4-point favorites over the Spurs on the spread (Bucks -4), with the over/under set at 225.5 total points. Milwaukee is a -175 favorite to win outright, while San Antonio is +145 to pull off the upset.

Let's get to my Spurs vs. Bucks predictions and NBA picks for Wednesday night.

Spurs vs. Bucks Prediction, Picks

Spread

After snapping a two-game losing streak with a 128-104 win against the Raptors in Toronto in their latest outing, the Bucks are now tagged as modest home favorites against the Spurs in tonight's matchup. However, I will not be picking a side today.

Moneyline

I'm staying away from the moneyline market as well.

Over/Under

My Bucks vs. Spurs best bet is Victor Wembanyama Over 37.5 Points + Rebounds, which isn't exactly a total prediction, but it does correlate with the Over. The best line is currently available at FanDuel, but as always, make sure to shop for the best line using our live NBA odds page.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Milwaukee Bucks NBA Preview

Over the weekend, Victor Wembanyama had two epic battles with three-time MVP Nikola Jokic. After a loss in Chicago on Monday night, San Antonio will be in Milwaukee to continue its road trip. That also means Wembanyama will be facing another multi-MVP winner in Giannis Antetokounmpo.

This will be just the second meeting between the two superstars. Last January, Wembanyama had 27 points, nine rebounds, and five blocks against the Bucks. However, Antetokounmpo took the game over in the fourth quarter and finished with 44 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists in a 125-121 Bucks victory.

Antetokounmpo may have missed a triple-double in that one, but he is coming off a triple-double against the Raptors on Monday night. His next triple-double will be the 50th of his career.

Antetokounpo is probable for tonight's game and he has been his usual dominant self. He is currently on pace for his consecutive season averaging 30 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 60% from the field. He is currently leading the league in scoring (31.6 PPG) and ranks sixth in rebounds (11.6 RPG) this season.

Also probable for tonight's game is Khris Middleton. The 33-year old is still rounding himself into form having played just 12 games this season, but he has been filling up the stat sheet. Middleton is averaging 4.4 rebounds and five assists per game this season. He may be a factor on the glass tonight with the Spurs ranking 25th in rebounds allowed.

Tonight's game also pits two of the NBA's best point guards of all-time in Chris Paul and Damian Lillard. However, tonight I am more interested in Paul's lines. He has recorded eight assists in seven of his last 10 games. He is also coming off an 18-point game against the Bulls.

Spurs vs. Bucks Best Bets, Predictions

Wembanyama has scored 25 points in seven of his last 10 games, matching his average of 25.6 PPG this season. He is also averaging 10.8 rebounds per game, but he has really picked it up of late. He has 55 rebounds over his past three games, and the Bucks are 23rd in rebounds allowed this season.

As a result, I will be backing his points + rebounds line tonight. Wembanyama has recorded at least 35 points + rebounds (PR) in nine of his last 10 games, clearing tonight's line in five of them. He also seems to get up for these primetime matchups.

Recently, he went for 42 points and 18 rebounds on Christmas at Madison Square Garden, 34 and 8 against Anthony Edwards and countryman Rudy Gobert, and 35 and 18 and 20 and 23 in consecutive games against Jokic. Tonight, he gets a primetime tilt against Antetokounmpo.

However, Antetokounmpo will not make tonight's game easy on him. He has pulled down 10 rebounds in nine of his last 10 games while scoring 30 points in seven of them. He has recorded 40 PR in nine of his last 10 games and in three of his last four games against the Spurs.

Meanwhile, Paul has been a great facilitator as usual of late, but the Bucks are also 29th in points allowed to point guards. Even a modest game like 10 points and eight assists will get him over his PA line tonight. He has recorded 18 PA in six of his last 10 games and I am going with that as the final leg of my same game parlay.

Best Bet: Victor Wembanyama Over 37.5 Points + Rebounds

Bucks vs. Spurs Parlay Picks

  • Victor Wembanyama Over 37.5 Points + Rebounds
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo 40 Points + Rebounds
  • Chris Paul Over 17.5 Points + Assists

Parlay Odds: +345
