The Spurs have had an up-and-down season with a 19-22 record and the league's 20th-ranked adjusted Net Rating, per Dunks and Threes. They are slightly below average on both offense and defense on the season despite having the all-world talent of Victor Wembanyama.
The Pacers struggled out of the gate but have turned it up lately. They have the ninth-best Adjusted Offensive Rating but since the start of the new year they've been excellent.
Since January 1st, they have been 8-1 with a +13.5 point differential. They are fourth in offense and third in defense, with a +8.8 spread differential, per Cleaning the Glass.
All eyes will be on Victor Wembanyama on this stage. Victor is averaging 24.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 4.0 blocks, 1.1 steals, and 3.2 3s per game. He's been incredible this season and I fully expect him to show out in front of what should be a supportive crowd.
Victor's points line is a bit high at 26.5 points. However, this matchup is elite.
The Pacers are surrendering the fifth-most points in the paint to their opponents and even though Myles Turner can defend on the perimeter, he's at a size disadvantage in this matchup.
When these teams played last season, he scored 13 points in his first matchup early in November, but then scored 31 points in their March matchup. Given the circumstances and the success bigs have had against the Pacers, I like Wemby to exceed 26.5 points.
One of the toughest obstacles for the Pacers here is they do not shoot a ton of 3s and have the third-lowest frequency of 3s, per Cleaning the Glass. Fortunately, their efficiency floats them from beyond the arc. The Spurs take more 3s; however, their efficiency drags them down overall.

The Pacers have been the better team this season and especially since the New Year.
While this should feel like a pseudo-home game for the Spurs given the Wemby factor, I think the Spurs will be a bit overrated in the market.
The Spurs are 20-21 ATS this season, and the Pacers are 22-20-1, but 8-2 ATS over their last 10 games.
I'll lay the 3.5 points with Indiana and back one of the league's hottest teams since the calendar turned over.
