Stephen Curry added his name to the growing list of players with an unreal scoring night in the NBA this season. The two-time NBA MVP scored 60 points Saturday night against the Atlanta Hawks, albeit in a 141-134 overtime loss.
Curry's 60-point performance marks the sixth 60-point game in the NBA this season, the third-most 60 points games in a single season NBA history. The last time the NBA had this many 60-point games was the 1962-63 season.

Curry fell just two points short of his career-high 62 points but shot 22-of-38 from the floor and 10-of-23 from behind the arc. It's the 24th time in Curry's career that he's hit at least 10 3-pointers in a single game, which is more than the top four players on that list have combined: Klay Thompson (9), Damian Lillard (5), J.R. Smith (3), James Harden (3) and Zach LaVine (3).
Despite Curry's greatness, the Warriors find themselves four games under .500 with the trade deadline looming. The Warriors had +330 odds to make the NBA Playoffs in the West and -450 odds to miss the playoffs entering the month of February.
After Saturday's loss, the Warriors sit in 12th place in the Western Conference standings, one game behind the Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz for the final spot in the play-in tournament. Things don't get easier for Curry and the Warriors either. Their remaining strength of schedule over their final 36 games (.501) is right in the middle of the pack, and 20 of those games will be played on the road.
