Bradley Beal and Kevin Love have been replaced on the U.S. men's Olympic basketball team roster with the San Antonio Spurs' Keldon Johnson and the Denver Nuggets' JaVale McGee, the Athletic reported on Friday.

Beal had been ruled out after he was placed under coronavirus-related health protocols earlier this week. Love dropped out of the roster on Friday due to a lingering calf injury.

Johnson had been a member of Team USA's "Select Team" and has played extensively during this month's exhibition games. McGee is a three-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers.

The team's futures odds have not changed since the replacements were announced. The U.S.' odds to defend their gold medal are still -400 at BetMGM, -550 at DraftKings, -370 at FanDuel and -625 at PointsBet.

Original Post:

With the NBA Finals in full swing, USA basketball was flying under the radar until the team full of NBA stars was upset by Nigeria.

Most people didn't realize how many former or current NBA players Nigeria had on its roster (nine to be exact) and honestly, the same could be said for a number of teams in the Olympic field. With so many of the NBA's best players (and even the average ones) coming from around the world, rosters are significantly more deep than they've ever been.

Below, I've compiled a list of the current and former NBA players on each country's roster along with their odds from PointsBet to win the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
