Portland Trail Blazers vs Sacramento Kings NBA Thursday Preview

The last game of Thursday night's NBA slate features the Sacramento Kings and the Portland Trail Blazers. While the NBA as of late has had very little relevance lately, with some teams tanking, this one is huge for playoff implications. The Blazers currently sit 12th, three games out of the final play-in spot, while the Kings currently sit 9th, three games out of a guaranteed playoff spot.

Tonight’s negative correlation same game parlay focuses on two players that are cornerstones for their teams. To start off we have Domantas Sabonis to record 10 rebounds and 6 assists. So far this year he is averaging 13.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game.

Sabonis, who was born in Portland, loves a game against the Blazers. In games in which he played 30+ minutes against Portland this season, he’s averaged 18.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 9 assists, and tallied a triple double in one of them.

It’s crucial for a Kings victory that he plays well tonight, and I see nothing stopping him from doing so.

Our last player in the parlay features Deni Avdija, who recently cashed us as well. Deni has been playing extremely well as of late, as his minutes continue to trend upward. Over his last eight games, he is averaging 24.5 points.

In a must-win game against the Kings, I expect him to get a ton of shots up. He will look to use his interior finishing in this game, get to the rim and draw a few fouls along the way too.

The Under in this game boosts the same game parlay from +400 to +1000. Negatively correlated with us taking a player to get assists and points. In an entertaining game between the 9 vs. 12 seeds, we hope to see some stronger defensive possessions down the stretch to get us to see green on this parlay.
