Tuesday’s best NBA player props focus on four of the slate’s eight games:
- Washington Wizards at Philadelphia 76ers: 7 p.m. ET
- Sacramento Kings at Phoenix Suns: 9 p.m. ET
- New York Knicks at Golden State Warriors: 10:30 p.m. ET on NBATV
- Charlotte Hornets at Los Angeles Clippers: 10:30 p.m. ET
As a reminder, you can dig deeper on these and many other prop bets by using our FantasyLabs NBA Player Props Tool. It leverages our projections against five of the most popular online sportsbooks and grades each prop on a scale of one to 10.
76ers C Joel Embiid
The Pick: Over 13.5 rebounds (-145 at Bovada)
This is a big number to take the over on, but Embiid should dominate the Wizards on the glass today. They rank dead last in terms of team rebound rate, and they’ve been even worse with Dwight Howard off the court this season.
Both of these teams have also played at a top-eight pace this season, so there should be plenty of rebound opportunities. Embiid pulled down 15 rebounds in his first game vs. the Wizards this season despite playing just 22 minutes.
Embiid is one of the best rebounders in the league, so he should have no problem taking advantage of the Wizards’ soft interior. I’d play the over up to -180.
Kings SG Bogdan Bogdanovic
The Pick: Over 17 points (-114 at BetOnline)
The Kings are in one of the best scoring spots of the day vs. the Phoenix Suns, who rank 28th in defensive efficiency this season. They’ll also be shorthanded, with both Marvin Bagley and Iman Shumpert already ruled out. That should result in a slightly larger workload for Bogdanovic, who has been excellent when given the opportunity to play big minutes. He’s averaged 20.1 points per 36 minutes this season and is currently projected for 35 minutes in the FantasyLabs NBA Models.
I’m buying stock in Bogdanovic in both DFS and the prop market. I like the over up to -140.
Knicks SG Tim Hardaway Jr.
The Pick: Under 18.5 points (-140 at Sportsbook.com)
Hardaway Jr. has been the Knicks’ lone constant this season, but his role could be beginning to shrink. The Knicks have absolutely nothing to play for, so keeping Hardaway Jr. healthy for a potential trade is more important than maximizing his contributions on the court. He played just 26.7 minutes in his last contest and could see a similar workload today vs. the Warriors. The Knicks are also 17-point underdogs — the largest of the entire season — and it seems unlikely they’d push THJ in a blowout situation.
This scoring prop seems way too high for a player with a questionable workload at the moment. I like the under up to -175.
Clippers G Lou Williams
The Pick: Over 18.5 points (-115 at Bovada)
Williams wasn’t really needed in the Clippers’ last game, resulting in just 24.5 minutes of playing time. He should return to his normal workload today in a great matchup vs. the Charlotte Hornets: Their implied team total of 118.75 ranks third on the slate. Williams has scored at least 21 points in five of his past seven games, so this could be a nice opportunity to buy somewhat low on him.
Williams can score the ball with the best of ‘em, and I like the over up to -135.
