Warriors vs. Bucks Preview
On Sunday afternoon, the Bucks pulled away from the 76ers for a 135-127 victory over the 76ers. Damian Lillard led the way with 43 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.
Meanwhile, Bobby Portis had 18 points and 13 rebounds as he came off the bench once again. Lillard logged 44 minutes yesterday so his status bears monitoring for today's game.
Notably from yesterday's box score was Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks' star has missed the last four games with a calf strain.
Now, he has been ruled out for at least another week, which also means he will be unavailable for tonight's game against Golden State. The Bucks will look to pull off the victory without him.
For the Warriors, Jimmy Butler made his team debut on Saturday night against his former team in Chicago. The Warriors trailed by as many as 23 points in the quarter before Stephen Curry and Butler took turns taking over the game.
Curry scored 24 points of his 34 points in the third quarter as he knocked down five triples. Butler scored 10 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter as the Warriors pulled away for a 132-111 victory.
Curry is listed as questionable for tonight's game, but if he goes, he has a fantastic matchup. The Bucks are allowing the most points (27.5 PPG) to point guards this season. Tyrese Maxey scored 39 points against them yesterday. Curry has enjoyed a lot of success against them as well with 36 points and 29 points in his last two games.
This could be a game that features a lot of 3-point attempts and that is certainly an area where Curry will contribute significantly. In their last game, the Warriors went 19-for-48 from behind the arc while the Bucks went 24-for-55 from deep yesterday.
Warriors' rookie center Quinten Post has been a surprising contributor in that area he has made four 3s against the Bulls and at least two 3s in five of his last eight games.

Warriors vs. Bucks Prediction
The Over is 8-2 in the Warriors' last 10 games. However, with the Warriors being the team with rest and not playing their third game in four nights, I am going to focus on their team total. The Warriors have scored at least 120 points in each of their last two games, while the Bucks have allowed 120 or more points in six of their last eight contests.
Milwaukee is allowing 14 3-pointers per game, which ranks 25th in the league. The Warriors should be able to take advantage of that with shooters such as Curry, Moses Moody, Buddy Hield, and Post among others. Curry enters tonight's game with three straight games of 30 points. If he and Lillard are both available tonight, they could be in for a duel tonight.
Lillard, an Oakland native, has averaged 28.4 points in 36 career games against the Warriors. He has scored 25 points in four of the last five meetings and in six of his last eight games on the second night of a back-to-back. Without Antetokounmpo, his usage rate ticks by over 6%.
Speaking of Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis has stepped up in his absence. He has cleared his points + rebounds line in each of his last three games. He has also recorded 25 PR in four of his last five games against the Warriors and they are 22nd in rebounds allowed per game this season.
I will close out this parlay with Butler after a big game in his debut. He has scored 23 points in eight of his last nine games against Milwaukee. Maxey and Joel Embiid combined for 66 points against Milwaukee yesterday and I expect a big night from the Curry/Butler duo as well.
Best Bet: Warriors Team Total Over 119.5 Points (-105)
Same Game Parlay Picks
- Stephen Curry 25+ Points
- Damian Lillard 25+ Points
- Jimmy Butler 20+ Points
- Bobby Portis 25+ Points + Rebounds
