The 2021-22 NBA regular season tips off on Tuesday night with the Bucks and a collection of some of basketball's top 10 players in action.
The nightcap will feature the rivalry of Stephen Curry's Warriors taking on LeBron James and the new-look Lakers at the Staples Center.
Los Angeles returns the powerful duo of James and Anthony Davis, but has now flanked them with talented-yet-flawed veteran Russell Westbrook and a number of young, high-potential shooters.
The recipe makes sense on paper, but the excellent defense that made the Lakers so tough will definitely be tested against a hungry Dubs squad.
Draymond Green, Curry and Co. may not have Klay Thompson back just yet, but as Curry showed in his 41-point outburst to close the preseason, Golden State's combination of shooting and veteran know-how could carry it far this season, adversity be damned.
So with both the Warriors and Lakers working in a number of new players, it can be tough to predict which way you should lean, especially considering the back-and-forth in recent matchups between these two teams.
Our latest NBA PRO Report showcases a clear side for Tuesday night's late game.
