Warriors vs. Nets Preview
This might seem a letdown spot for the Warriors, but the alternative tonight is far less interesting than it might have been a few weeks ago.
The Nets' mild uprising in February is now a distant memory with losses in five straight games, the last three of those no closer than 14 points.
It is strange but true how dynamics can change for the worse with the return of a star player; in the case of Brooklyn, top scorer Cam Thomas returned last Saturday vs. Detroit, and has scored 20 points per game in his pair of games.
But, the more deliberate pace that Jordi Fernandez used to good effect when winning 6 of 7 heading into the All-Star break has been altered by the presence of Thomas. Ergo, the Nets, for the moment, seem to be getting worse instead of better.
The argument for the Dubs makes itself, 9-1 SU and vs. the line with Jimmy Butler in the lineup since the trade from Miami.
Best Bet: Warriors -10.5 (-110)

Warriors vs. Nets Parlay Picks
By Kyle Murray
Draymond Green Over 5.5 Assists
Draymond Green has started to see some more minutes lately, as he has been playing more at center at times.
This has led to improved production across the board, especially his assists, as he is averaging 6.8 assists over his last 10 games.
I have him projected for 6.8 assists in this matchup against the Nets.
Cam Thomas 20+ Points
Cam Thomas returned from injury a couple of games ago, and he stepped right back into a massive role for this Nets team, as he had a 37% usage rate or higher in each of those games. He also saw 26 minutes last game, despite losing out on the last couple minutes due to a blowout.
So, while this game also has blowout risk, I do think the Nets have a strong chance at keeping this game fairly close, and if that happens, I would not be surprised to see 28 minutes or so for Thomas. And at his 26-minute projection, I have him scoring 21.9 points.
Same Game Parlay Picks
- Warriors -10.5
- Draymond Green Over 5.5 Assists
- Cam Thomas 20+ Points
