Wizards vs. Pistons Preview

Malik Beasley fell short of this line in Tuesday's meeting between these two teams, but the matchup is still excellent.

The Wizards are an absolute sieve defensively, and they play at one of the fastest Paces in the league. They allow the fourth-most three-pointers per game to their opponents as well, a spot where Beasley has thrived this season.

Beasley still scored 14 points and made 4 three-pointers in the previous meeting, but only took 10 shots, which is a bit below his average over the last 20 games (12.5).

On the season, he has hit this line in 64% of games, and is averaging 16.5 points. I expect the Pistons to get Beasley back on track tonight.

Best Bet: Malik Beasley Over 14.5 Points (-115)

Wizards vs. Pistons Betting Predictions

By Bruce Marshall

Often in back-to-back rematches like this one, we like to look at the team that lost the first game, but I'm making an exception with the teams involved in this case.

There seems to be a greater chance of the Pistons notching something similar to their 123-103 romp past the Wizards a few days ago, than Washington closing the gap.

Detroit was in full control of that game from the outset, already up 17 by halftime, and most of the starters only played a bit more than half of the game, which was long enough for Cade Cunningham to score 26.

Note that 15 of the Wizards' last 18 losses have come by double digits, with the Pistons currently on a 12-3-1 spread surge. Lay the points with the Pistons.

Pick: Pistons -13.5 (-110)
