Ever wanted to create your own point spreads for college basketball, especially NCAA Tournament matchups? Now is your chance.

Sean Koerner, our Director of Predictive Analytics and the No. 1 in-season fantasy football ranker from 2015-2017, has released his college basketball power ratings that will be updated daily. They're available to EDGE subscribers.

How Do These Ratings Work?

Using underlying metrics that capture a team's true performance — not just its results — we can create one number that shows the relative strength of that team compared to others.

Pick the two teams you want to compare and subtract the lower team's rating from the higher one to create a point spread. If Duke's rating is 50 and North Carolina's is 46, the Blue Devils would be 4-point favorites on a neutral court.
