All year, we've been tracking how college basketball futures odds have moved with the ebbs and flows of a rigorous season. And now we've reached the point where each team's path will become clear.
The 2019 NCAA Tournament field will be announced on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, and with it we'll get fresh national title odds from sportsbooks.
Odds won't change all that much with the bracket release. Duke is the favorite because it would be favored over any team in the country, so a more difficult path wouldn't affect the Blue Devils all that much.
There's also not much a team can do on Sunday to drastically improve their profile and subsequently, their national title odds.
Duke is still favored to cut down the nets in Minneapolis on April 8, with a whole host of contenders behind them at 12-1 or less. Those teams include Gonzaga, Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Michigan State and Tennessee.
In fact, the Blue Devils have been the consensus favorite since before the season. Even after Zion Williamson's injury, Caesars briefly dropped Duke from 2-1 to 5-2 before quickly moving back to 2-1.
2019 NCAA Tournament National Title Odds
Each number is the resulting winnings on a $100 wager. So $100 bet on Duke would win $225; $100 on Purdue would win $3,000.
