Villanova clinched its spot on Saturday with an upset win over Houston, 50-44.
The Wildcats have covered four straight. They're playing some of their best basketball at the right time, but will be without Justin Moore — their second-leading scorer from the regular season — who suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the Elite Eight.
That caused a big line move overnight Sunday into Monday, as Kansas went from -1.5 to -4.5 because of the news.
Kansas was pegged the title favorite after Gonzaga lost to Arkansas in the Sweet 16. Bill Self's club got off to a tough start against Miami in Sunday's Elite Eight, but imposed its will down the stretch en route to a convincing 26-point win.
The Duke vs. North Carolina matchup, meanwhile, is a dream scenario. The Tar Heels toppled the Blue Devils as sizable underdogs in Coach K's final home game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Blue Devils have since ripped off six wins in the last seven games, including three straight covers in the NCAA Tournament.
North Carolina has been the better bet in the overall series lately, covering eight of its last 10 games against Duke. The two ACC clubs have also engaged in their fair share of track meets, cashing six straight overs.
The Final Four of the men's 2022 NCAA Tournament will be held in New Orleans.
