2024 College Basketball National Championship Odds

UConn absolutely steamrolled its way through the 2023 NCAA Tournament, culminating in a dominant win over San Diego State on Monday night.

It's no surprise to see those same Huskies atop the leaderboard for the winner of 2024's March Madness.

San Diego State, though, is getting no love. While UConn is the odds-on favorite at +1100, San Diego State sits at +10000 — behind 45 other teams and tied with six others.

About 20 teams ranked above the Aztecs for next season missed this year's NCAA Tournament altogether.

It puts into perspective just how improbable San Diego State's run to the title game was.

This year's true Cinderella — Florida Atlantic — is ranked 16th-best to win it all, with the team expecting to return most of its top scorers.

Duke holds the second-best odds despite flaming out of the tournament this season. That's because it has one of the best recruiting classes in the nation coming in next season.

The team regarded to have the absolute best in the country — Kentucky — sits tied for third in the title rankings at +1500. Alongside Kentucky sits Arizona, which was upset by Princeton in the first round of this year's tournament as a -15 favorite.

Meanwhile, Alabama sits at +1500, too, despite losing expected top-five pick Brandon Miller to the NBA Draft.
