There are several teams on the bubble to make March Madness, and we'll find out tonight at 6 p.m. for Selection Sunday whether these teams are snubbed.
The most notable teams on the chopping block are St. John's and Oklahoma. One of the two teams are bound to miss the tournament. The other figures to get in.
At FanDuel, the odds for Oklahoma to make the NCAA Tournament are -400 while the no market is +270. At DraftKings, the line is staggeringly different: the yes is priced at -275 with the no at +210.
There was an arbitrage opportunity for at least 15 minutes at DraftKings, pricing that market at -210 for a yes and +165 for a no. That market then adjusted accordingly.
Meanwhile, for St. John's, the market at FanDuel has them to make the tournament at -158 and to miss at +118. At DraftKings, odds are -140 yes and +110 no.
Keep in mind that at DraftKings, these markets aren't available in every state, like in New York.
The third biggest bubble team according to FanDuel is Texas A&M, although they figure to be shoe ins to make March Madness in the end. FanDuel in particular prices this market in diametric opposition to DraftKings. While FanDuel has Texas A&M as a -470 favorite to make the tournament, DraftKings has that market at -750. The no's are +310 and +450, respectively.
Other teams on the bubble include Michigan State (-2000 yes, +1000 no), Virginia (+400 yes, -600 no), Indiana State (+600 yes, -1100 no) and Florida Atlantic (-500 yes, +340 no). These markets are all available at DraftKings.
According to ESPN's Joe Lunardi, the last four teams in are TCU, Michigan State (-2000), Colorado and Oklahoma (-270). The first four out are St. Johns (-140), Virginia (+400), Seton Hall and Indiana State (+600).
