The Arizona Wildcats had a rough start, dropping five of their first nine games.
But they've played some of their best ball since, rattling off seven straight wins, five of which have come against Big 12 competition.
Scoring has spurred Arizona's hot streak. Over the last seven games, Arizona has posted a 58.3% effective field goal percentage, the highest mark in the Big 12 during that stretch.
They've sustained success by converting high-quality looks in the paint. Over 44% of the Wildcats' points have come down low, and they should be able to exploit an undersized Red Raiders team.
Speaking of their size, Arizona's Henri Veesar should eat on the offensive glass, as Texas Tech ranks just 152nd nationally in defensive rebounding rate.
The Wildcats should keep rolling as long as they can continue to work the ball inside and control the glass.
Texas Tech Basketball
The Red Raiders have also flexed their muscles on the offensive end of the floor this season. They come into this matchup ranked 10th nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency and eighth in effective field goal percentage.
Like the Wildcats, they've had most of their success in the paint. Although they have converted over 68% of their shots, this only accounts for 33% of their scoring.
