Big 12 play gets underway for both Baylor and Oklahoma State on Saturday in Stillwater, Oklahoma. It will be strength vs. strength in this game as the explosive Baylor offense goes up against an Oklahoma State defense that makes things difficult for opposing offenses.

Oklahoma State is 7-2 at home this season and just 1-3 away from Stillwater. The home crowd should be rocking for a contest that'll give the Cowboys a much-needed resume boost as conference play begins. Oklahoma State is 0-3 against Top 100 opponents and looks like a team that will need to make some serious improvements to have a chance at the NCAA Tournament.

Baylor is a much different story and hits the road to take on an Oklahoma State team that it should beat. Baylor only has two losses on the season, both to top-20 teams in Michigan State and Duke.

Here's NCAAB odds and a pick for Baylor vs Oklahoma State.

Baylor Bears

Baylor has an elite offense in nearly every way possible. The Bears rank third in the country in Adjusted Offensive Efficiency, but are first in Effective FG% and in 3-point shooting. When they do miss shots, they generate tons of second-chance opportunities and rank 18th in offensive rebounding.

Scott Drew has once again assembled a loaded roster filled with talented guards who can score in a variety of ways. RayJ Dennis, the transfer from Toledo, has been the focal point. Dennis is a great playmaker, but he can also get his own shots whenever needed.

Alongside Dennis is Ja'Kobe Walter, a likely NBA lottery pick, and Jayden Nunn, Langston Love and Miro Little. On any given night, any of the Baylor guards can take over a game. This will be the toughest test for Oklahoma State's defense yet this season.

Oklahoma State Cowboys

But the Cowboys may be up for the challenge. Oklahoma State's 59th-ranked defense has held opponents under 60 points in three of its past five games. Oklahoma State prefers to play slow, and may be able to dictate tempo in this game.

Oklahoma State's shot tendencies tend to favor the 3-pointer. The Cowboys shoot 44% of their shots from 3, which ranks 44th in the nation. They also only allow opposing offenses to shoot 32% of their attempts from outside, which ranks 35th in the country. If they can get hot from deep, they'll have a chance to keep up with Baylor's elite shooters.

Oklahoma State has lost eight consecutive home games against Baylor going all the way back to 2016, but six of those eight games were decided by single digits.

Betting Pick & Prediction

Weird things happen in conference play, and despite Baylor's success in Stillwater, Oklahoma State has been able to keep all of these games close. The Cowboys have won five consecutive games, and their defensive scheme lends itself to limiting Baylor's attempts from 3. If Oklahoma State can knock down some 3s of its own, we like the Cowboys' chances in this spot.

Pick: Oklahoma State +5
