Let's take a look at the Dayton Flyers vs. Saint Louis Billikens odds and make a prediction in our NCAAB betting preview for Tuesday, March 5.

Dayton and Saint Louis are on opposite ends of the spectrum in the Atlantic 10.

This game has some implications on the final few top seeds ahead of the conference tournament, but it seems like Dayton has missed its chance at the top spot in the league.

This is the second meeting of the season between the Flyers and Billikens, and the first meeting was a lot closer than people expected. Dayton was an 11-point favorite in that matchup and only won the game by five.

Saint Louis led at half, but it couldn't hold on down the stretch on the road. That game was over a month and a half ago, and a lot has changed since.

Let's dive into my Dayton vs. Saint Louis pick and prediction.

Dayton Flyers

Saint Louis won its fourth conference game of the season on Saturday and it has nothing to lose ahead of this one.

The Billikens have a 0.25 win percentage in conference play, which is less than ideal.

Early on in their season, they looked like they would be much more competitive after taking Dayton to the brink.

In that matchup earlier this season, Saint Louis leaned on its biggest strength, which is 3-point shooting. The Billikens shot 35% from beyond the arc and will need to dial that up again.

Dayton missed a big chance on Friday to take out Loyola Chicago on the road. The Flyers were leading that game late and failed to take advantage.

Dayton should be playing with an edge, as it still has two regular season games to gain ground in conference. I'm expecting the Flyers to come out fast and take advantage of the inferior opponent.

The Flyers have massive edges in the offense metrics and will be able to get plenty of mismatches around the perimeter and down low.

Truthfully, Dayton can choose its score in this one, as Saint Louis will be playing with little fight and is ready to get into the offseason.

Betting Pick & Prediction

It's hard to see Saint Louis putting up a solid fight in this game, even at home.

As long as Dayton is locked in and ready to bounce back, it should roll here. Enoch Cheeks will be able to create a ton of offense from the perimeter and get the ball down low to the Flyers' do-it-all big man DaRon Holmes II.

The Flyers have been the best team in this conference all season long but have slipped up in a few moments. If they don't win the Atlantic 10 postseason tournament, they'll have to play their best ball down the stretch to show the committee they have what it takes to perform in the Big Dance.

Roll with the road favorites in this one.

Pick: Dayton -10
