My Colorado vs Iowa State College Basketball Betting Preview
I like Iowa State hosting Colorado.
The Buffs are coming off their first Big 12 win (a 76-63 victory over UCF) and actually their first victory since before Christmas. They beat Bellarmine at home on December 21 and then they lost 13 straight until this past Saturday.
The Buffaloes' first conference game was against Iowa State at home, and it was a very close battle until late. The Clones seemed like they were messing around — allowing the Buffaloes to remain close — until they went on a late run to cover.
Iowa State is due for an eye-popping, dominant Clones-like 40-minute performance. We haven't really seen this team put that type of effort together since the Milan Momcilovic injury and when it beat TCU by 30 on February 8.
A repeat performance of that Horned Frog bashing is likely coming in this one.
Colorado isn't always an easy team to squash, but I believe the Buffs have Iowa State's attention after that close meeting at Hilton Coliseum.
I think Colorado coming down from altitude rolls over into this game, so lay up to 18 on Iowa State. This is a letdown spot for the Buffs.
