Creighton vs Providence College Basketball Betting Preview
From a spot perspective, it doesn’t get any better than Providence hosting Creighton on Wednesday.
Providence has hit its stride, finding the right rotations and roles despite dealing with major injuries, including the potentially season-ending one to Bryce Hopkins. The Friars have won four of their past seven games, with two losses by a combined four points.
On the flip side, Creighton enters Wednesday riding high after an insanely lucky win over Villanova.
The Bluejays also have colossal home games against Marquette and UConn next week, so they’re in a prime sandwich spot heading on the road to face a team they’ve already beaten handily (by 20 on Jan. 14).
This is as good as it gets for a chance at a Providence win.
Although Creighton’s superstar center, Ryan Kalkbrenner, is fantastic, I still don’t quite believe in this Creighton team. Some of the role players have been shooting over their heads, especially Isaac Traudt and Jackson McAndrew (combined 68-for-183 from 3, 37%).
Ultimately, I believe Providence has a good shot of winning this game outright, but I’ll happily take the points.
