Fairleigh Dickinson was as long as +2200 before its First Round contest against Purdue on Friday night.
And yes, that means plenty of people profited heavily after FDU pulled off what turned out to be the biggest upset of all-time, according to the point spread.
The biggest confirmed bet we have on file is at DraftKings, which says a user placed a $33,000 wager on Fairleigh Dickinson to win at +1500 odds.
The payout? $495,000.
DraftKings confirmed the authenticity of the ticket to the Action Network on Saturday morning.

The other best, confirmed ticket we have on file is with Caesars, which reports a bettor put $500 at +2000 odds on Fairleigh Dickinson to win. That bettor won $10,000.
Another bettor put $300 at those same odds at PointsBet.
And while it's unconfirmed, Barstool founder Dave Portnoy posted a screenshot on Twitter indicating he put $4,000 to win $56,000 on FDU's moneyline at a price of +1400.
Fairleigh Dickinson had been an eye-popping +23.5 on the spread. Previously, the largest underdog to win outright in an NCAA Tournament game had been Norfolk State, which took down Missouri as a 15 seed as 21.5-point underdogs.
Purdue, meanwhile, had been as short as -10000 to win outright on Friday night, with some books even keeping the odds off the board. As late as 15 minutes to go in the second half, their odds still hovered around roughly -5000.
