Gonzaga vs Davidson College Basketball Betting Preview
Besides a slight hiccup against West Virginia in the first round of this event, Gonzaga has looked like one of the best teams in the country, especially offensively.
Ryan Nembhard has shown flashes at the point guard position, and the amount of weapons the Zags have offensively has Mark Few licking his chops.
Everything seems to be pointing in the Bulldogs' direction when it comes to this handicap. They have huge talent, athleticism and depth advantages, and that's especially important when both teams are playing three games in three days.
Davidson relies heavily on three players offensively — Bobby Durkin, Reed Bailey and Connor Kochera — while Gonzaga has a plethora of avenues to run its offense through.
Regardless, this just seems like too many points.
This is Davidson's biggest opportunity of the season, and that's not an exaggeration.
The Wildcats will forget this is their third game in three days, and the fact that they got blown out by Arizona in their first game might help their legs in this spot.
Also, we're getting value on this line, as Bart Torvik has this spread around 17.5 rather than almost 20.
It might be scary betting against Gonzaga this season, but I'm going to trust Matt McKillop's team to put forth a solid effort in a critical spot.
