Indiana State vs Ohio State College Basketball Betting Preview

Ohio State has dealt with a lot of ups and downs lately.

Aaron Bradshaw was away from the team while the school investigated a potential domestic incident, while Meechie Johnson Jr. stepped away from the program to deal with personal matters. To top it all off, the Buckeyes were run off the court by Maryland in early December.

But then the tide started to shift for Jake Diebler and co., as Bradshaw returned and the Buckeyes blew out Kentucky by 20 at Madison Square Garden.

Unfortunately, this isn't a great spot for Ohio State. This is a sandwich spot, as the Buckeyes' last game was that aforementioned win over Kentucky and their next game comes against No. 18 Michigan State at home.

To make matters more difficult for Ohio State, it's the holiday season, which could decrease the motivation even more for a game against KenPom No. 180 Indiana State.

While these are far from the same Sycamores who won 32 games and reached the NIT final last season, Indiana State has turned the corner in December, winning five straight games, including a victory over Iona at the end of November.

Due to the spot and Indiana State's recent performances, I expect the Sycamores to keep things within 18.5, but I wouldn't bet this any lower, given Ohio State's huge talent advantage.
