Kentucky vs Georgia College Basketball Betting Preview

I love Georgia in this spot. Yes, the Bulldogs haven't played a difficult schedule this season, but Kentucky is coming off an emotional, thrilling victory over the Gators.

Now they have to head on the road to face a Bulldogs team with experience and a dominant big in Asa Newell.

Georgia is also amid an incredibly arduous stretch of games against Ole Miss, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Auburn, Arkansas and Florida. The Bulldogs must hold their serve at home and earn some quality wins along this stretch to beef up their NCAA Tournament resume.

With Bart Torvik making this spread closer to a pick, I see value in the Bulldogs, as they look to slow down the game to their preferred tempo.

Kentucky has plenty of experience, talent, shooting and depth, but I think this is too many points on the road after the team's biggest game and win of the season. Also, Koby Brea, Kentucky's sharpshooter, is questionable for the game because of an undisclosed issue.

I wouldn't play this lower than 3, though.

Pick: Georgia +3.5 (Play to +3)
