Many of us have already ripped up brackets. Mattress Mack can rip up his biggest March Madness future bet.
Mack had north of $4 million riding on the No. 1 seed Houston Cougars to win the NCAA Tournament, which would have generated roughly 35 large.
'Would have' being the key phrase here — the Cougars lost in Friday's Sweet 16 to the Miami Hurricanes, 89-75

The Cougars closed as 7.5-point favorites over the Hurricanes in Friday's Sweet 16. Houston was as expensive as -385 on the moneyline, while Miami's best odds were +302.
Houston took care of business in its opener against Northern Kentucky, then rolled Auburn in the Round of 32.
Houston was the title favorite immediately after the bracket reveal, ahead of Alabama, Kansas and Purdue.
Alabama, another No. 1 seed, also lost in Friday's Sweet 16 to San Diego State. It's the first time a No. 1 seed has failed to reach the Elite Eight. as the Jayhawks and Boilermakers are also eliminated.
Mack has admittedly had tough start to 2023 from a betting perspective as he also had big wagers on TCU in the College Football Playoff.
