The beauty of Selection Sunday is that, as much as people try, no one really knows who's going to be in, and who's going to be out of the NCAA tournament.

Bracketology has elevated the pageantry of college basketball and March Madness. And now, we can legally bet on whether or not we think a team will make the NCAA tournament.

Michigan is one of the most disappointing teams this season. The Wolverines opened the year with the third-highest odds to win it all, and now they could be on the outside looking in come tournament time.

After a second round exit in the Big Ten Tournament, all the Wolverines can do now is sit at home and hope (welcome to the life of a college basketball gambler).

Michigan entered the conference tournament as one of the "last four byes" teams according to ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi's latest bracket. But some other bubble teams have already started to make some noise.

Indiana was a bubble team before the game and Michigan helped their chances.

The Wolverines are currently -900 to make the tournament and +490 to not make it.
