The betting public already has a favorite side for Monday's NCAA national title game between the UConn Huskies and San Diego Aztecs.
Fresh off demolishing the Miami Hurricanes in Saturday's Final Four, UConn moved from an opening spread of -5 at DraftKings to -6.5 within just 5 minutes, before settling at -7.5 at DK. The line is as high as -8.5 at SugarHouse.
Monday's over/under, meanwhile, currently ranges anywhere from 130 to 132, depending on the shop.
That line has moved significantly, as well. DraftKings opened the UConn vs San Diego State over/under at 135.5 and took the number off the board within minutes, as bettors apparently flooded the under. After a few moments, the number was back live at 132.5 and is now 132 at DK, with some books even lower, as mentioned above.
The public just watched UConn clean up with its fifth straight win and cover in the NCAA Tournament.
In fact, the Huskies have been one of the best bets tracing all the way back to the regular season, covering 10 of the last 11.
Overall, Dan Hurley's team owns the third-best cover rate in the entire nation. Here's how the preseason 75/1 long shot got to Monday's title game:
