The Chattanooga Mocs take on the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in the first round of the NIT on Tuesday.
The Mocs finished the season with a 24-9 record and won 15 out of their last 17 games. They're led by junior guard Honor Huff, who averages 15.1 points per game.
The Mocs finished first in the Southern Conference with a 15-3 record, but they suffered an overtime loss to the Furman Paladins in the SoCon Tournament, costing their chances at the Big Dance.
They'll want to rewrite that loss as they enter the NIT.
They're 7-2 as underdogs this year and should be able to dominate the Blue Raiders.
I think Vegas has the wrong team favored tonight, and I expect Chattanooga to handle business appropriately.
I’ll be locking in the points, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Mocs pulled off the upset outright.
