Oklahoma vs Texas College Basketball Betting Preview

The 18-12 Oklahoma Sooners come into Austin, Texas, to take on their rival, the 17-13 Texas Longhorns.

Oklahoma is trying to steal a game to seal its NCAA Tournament spot, as it's on the bubble right now.

Texas dominated the first matchup between these two in early January. The Longhorns got off to a hot start, winning the first half 43-27. Texas proceeded to increase its lead, and Jordan Pope couldn't miss, dropping 27 points.

Oklahoma would later come back to make the score look closer than it really was. Ultimately, Texas went on the road and upset its rival, winning outright as a 2.5-point underdog.

Oklahoma is a desperate team, and I think this game will be closer than the last matchup between the two. The Sooners are hot, covering their last four games, and they're fresh off a 4.5-point outright win against a ranked Missouri Tiger team.

Texas has covered one of its last five games and is riding that momentum from its outright win against Mississippi State. But it's hard to beat a team twice, let alone your rival.

Hot and desperate, I think Oklahoma is a live 'dog in Austin. Yes, the Moody Center will be jumping, and yes, Texas would love to spoil Oklahoma's chances, but don't be surprised if the Sooners steal this game and lock up its spot in the Big Dance.

Give me Oklahoma and the points.
