The Emerald Classic in Niceville, Fla. rolls on for the second round on Saturday.
The season hasn't been very Niceville for the Oregon State Beavers after an Elite Eight appearance last season. The Beavers have lost their last four games, and it hasn't been against high-caliber programs. The losses came to Iowa State, Tulsa, Samford and Princeton.
They look to right the ship against a Wake Forest team that is off to a rousing start to its season. Wake has started 5-0 but has also not played a team ranked higher than 250 on KenPom.
This will be its toughest test of the season and it has more difficult tests ahead to truly figure out how good the Demon Deacons are.
The winner of this game will play the winner of Penn State vs. LSU in the Emerald Classic Championship, while the loser will play the loser of that game.
Action Network has tracked Sharp Action coming in on one side in this game.
Oregon State vs. Wake Forest Odds
The spread opened as Wake Forest -4.5 and quickly moved to -4 where it stands now on most sportsbooks.
But we have indicated that Sharp Action has been coming in on Oregon State as of late. And the money would indicate the same thing. Oregon State is currently getting just 39% of the bets and 61% of the total handle.
It is just on the threshold of being a Big Money indicator as well as a Sharp Action indicator, meaning that the professional bettors likely have their eyes on this game.
