Spread

I'll be looking to back Princeton in this Ivy League clash on Saturday. The Tigers should have run away with the first meeting, and they can do it this time around.

Moneyline

While I'm backing the Tigers against the Bulldogs, I'm taking them on the spread instead of betting the moneyline.

Over/Under

I'm staying away from the total in this matchup.

My Pick: Princeton +10.5

Princeton vs Yale College Basketball Betting Preview

I'm going to be keeping an eye on Princeton when it goes up against Yale on Saturday.

If you look at the ShotQuality stats, Princeton should've come out on top by a good 20 points in the first matchup that ended in a seven-point loss. It fired off 26 more 3-pointers than Yale and had eight fewer turnovers.

But Yale shot a crazy and unsustainable 57% from 3-point land, while Princeton struggled and made just 14 of its 42 attempts.

To make things worse, Xaivian Lee and Caden Pierce had rough outings. They even got benched at one stage.

During that first game, we talked about how Princeton almost pulled off a huge comeback from being 20 points down in the second half. They're capable of swapping 3s for 2s and can keep Yale from grabbing too many offensive rebounds.

Sure, Yale's better at scoring from inside the arc, but Princeton can still hold its own in the turnover department.

From a shot volume angle, Princeton's got a real shot at winning. And if the Tigers keep exchanging those 3s for 2s, they'll be in good shape.

I doubt Lee will have another off day like he did before. So, I'm banking on Princeton to make a strong showing on Saturday and build on its previous performance against Yale.
