Rutgers vs Alabama College Basketball Betting Preview

I'm not crazy about laying a large number with the Tide here, but I also can't back Rutgers.

The Scarlet Knights don't have the firepower to keep up, which is one of the reasons why I lean towards the under.

Expecting an offensive outburst from both teams is a lot, especially after playing on Tuesday night.

The Houston game should beat up Alabama, and I do not trust the Rutgers shooting to keep up with the pace.

Also, the Tide are only shooting 70% from the stripe to begin the year, which is a bad sign since the Scarlet Knights are incredibly disciplined on defense.

Alabama should control the boards and cash in on some good fortune from deep, but fatigue should set in late in the game.

That will cause the pace to slow down, and it will likely be a rock fight late in the game.

The Tide should win the game outright, but I do not trust them to cover a significant number or put up massive offensive numbers.

The Scarlet Knights could hang tough here, but they may not be mentally tough after the last week.
