Seton Hall's Statistical Profile
Seton Hall is coming off an impressive Big East tournament, barely losing to top-seeded Villanova 74-72 in the championship game. The Pirates are peaking at the right time, having won four of their last five to finish the regular season 20-13 (9-9 conference).
The Hall punched their ticket to the Big Dance for the 4th straight year and that experience bodes well for a possible deep run. Seton Hall is well balanced, ranking 55th in adjusted efficiency, including 90th in offensive efficiency. Junior guard Myles Powell (22.9 PPG) is a one-man wrecking ball and has the ability to will his team to the Sweet 16.
But the true calling card for the Pirates is their stingy defense (45th overall in defensive efficiency). If you're looking for a sleeper, the Hall could be a smart bet. — Josh Appelbaum
