- The Arizona Cardinals begin the regular season against the Buffalo Bills, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y.
- The Bills are favored by 5.5 points over the Cardinals, with the game total set at 48.5.
- Kyler Murray is healthy under center for Arizona, while the Bills offense will look very different without two of Josh Allen's key receivers from last season.
It's time for my Cardinals vs. Bills predictions.
I've thought we were getting a good number on Buffalo since the lines were set when the schedule was released back in May. It's gotten a bit complicated with the line moving up to -6.5, but we'll break that down below. Marvin Harrison Jr. will make his NFL debut for Arizona as the reigning fourth overall pick.

How To Make NFL Picks for Cardinals vs. Bills
By Simon Hunter
If you're a fan of "The Favorites," then you'll know this was a line I liked right when lines came out after the schedule was released in May. I thought we were getting a good number on the Bills, but I got a bunch of sharp calls that bullied me into getting off of my position.
I really like the Cardinals, but there are too many question marks here. Kyler Murray is back and Marvin Harrison Jr. is in, but I'm still not entirely sold. I want to see Murray's connection with Harrison before backing Arizona.
The line moving from 5.5 to 6.5 this week has made this pick complicated. The potential for a tease on the Bills is now very high. I initially liked the Bills, but I'm going to sit this one out and see how the matchup plays out.

This likely ends up as the windiest game of Week 1.
In full transparency, I prefer hitting wind unders with sustained winds of 20 mph or greater, and this game likely falls just a hair short of that criteria. That being said, I still think we'll see it impacting one or two deeper throws or long field goals, and the difference between an over and an under can be one field goal or one would-be-touchdown ball that hangs up in the wind.
I expect winds in Orchard Park to be consistently 15-20 mph with wind gusts of 20-25 mph. It certainly won't impact every play, but it might just be enough to tilt the odds in our favor.
Pick: Under 47.5
