Odds for both potential AFC Championship Game matchups have been released on FanDuel, and Bills vs. Ravens opened with Baltimore as a three-point favorite at home.

That tracks given the Ravens' record as the fifth-best team since 1981, according to defense adjusted value over average (DVOA). That record was entering the Divisional Round and may have increased after a beatdown against the Texans.

This matchup, of course, will only take place if the Bills beat the Chiefs in their Divisional Round matchup Sunday night. Buffalo is a -2.5 favorite and has advantages at a variety of positions against a Kansas City offense that's perhaps the weakest during the Patrick Mahomes era. But, the Bills' defense is incredibly banged up, and Buffalo has some Chiefs demons it needs to exorcise to advance to just its second AFC Championship Game since 1993.

For what it's worth, my colleague and director of predictive analytics Sean Koerner had projections on this matchup prior to the weekend's games. His algorithms are the basis for plenty of our major edges. Koerner indicated the Ravens should be -3 favorites on the spread for this game — just as it opened. He also added the total should be priced at 46 — right in line with FanDuel's mark. So, as of open, there's no decipherable edge on this game.
