With the 49ers and Cowboys squaring off in the playoffs for the second straight year, I’m keying in on Dak Prescott's pass yards prop.
The Cowboys quarterback has cleared this line in eight of his last 10 games. After a poor Week 18 performance, the Cowboys passing attack looked fantastic in the Wild Card Round with 305 yards through the air.
And today should be another matchup that sees Prescott looking to throw early and often. The 49ers run defense ranks second in Football Outsider’s DVOA metric, which should make it difficult for the Cowboys to move the ball on the ground.
When facing defenses that rank in the top 15 of DVOA against the run, Prescott has cleared this passing yards line in four of six games this season.
The 49ers have allowed six of their last eight opponents to eclipse this line. Defensively, they will look to make the Cowboys a one-dimensional offense by taking away both Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott on the ground.
I have Dak projected at 270 passing yards today, and I would play this line up to over 262.5 yards.
