E.J. Speed
Over 8.5 Tackles and Assists (-135 | Play to -145)

Since taking over as a full-time, off-ball linebacker for the departed Shaquille Leonard last season, Speed has cleared this line in six of eight games.
That includes double-digit tackles plus assists in each of his past six contests.
Despite playing alongside Zaire Franklin, Speed has been a strong source of tackles in the middle of the Colts' defense.
Against the Bears, I expect another strong outing from Speed. Last week, the Texans' two starting off-ball linebackers totaled 23 combined tackles and assists.
With the Colts offense struggling to sustain drives (they currently have the lowest time of possession in the NFL), I expect Indy’s defense to be on the field often and have Speed projected closer to 10 tackles today.

49ers vs. Rams

Longest Reception Under 14.5 Yards (-110 | Play to -130)

The Rams enter their Week 3 matchup against the 49ers decimated with injuries. Not only will star receivers Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp miss the game, but Los Angeles will also be without three starters along the offensive line.
While the missing receivers could open up a few more targets for Parkinson, I’m still keying in on the under for his longest reception prop.
Parkinson has gone under this line in one of two games in his first season with the Rams. His average depth of target so far this season is only 3.9 yards.
It’s a small sample size, but Parkinson’s aDOT in four seasons in Seattle hovered around seven yards. He’s not much of a threat to catch a deep pass, but is capable of racking up the yards after the catch.
And that’s why I’m confident in the under today. Parkinson will have a brutal matchup against the 49ers defense. Fred Warner, Talanoa Hufanga and Ji’Ayir Brown are all excellent in coverage against tight ends and have the speed to keep Parkinson from breaking away.
The 49ers have only allowed three catches for 18 yards to tight ends this season. They rank fifth in FTN Fantasy’s DVOA metric against the position, a mark they’ve held in three of the previous four seasons.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Parkinson be asked to chip block before his routes given the issues on the Rams offensive line. I have his longest catch projected at 12 yards.
