The Rangers and Devils meet in NHL action this afternoon in New Jersey, and we've got a juicy same-game parlay centered around the game. This parlay pays out +1700 at DraftKings.

To make this SGP extra juicy, we include a goal-line play backed by an NHL expert, a shots-on-goal prop, and an anytime goal scorer.

The latter two are showing big edges with the Scores and Odds Props Model.

Let's dive in and give out a best bet and parlay for Rangers vs. Devils on Monday, December 23.

NHL Parlay: Rangers vs. Devils SGP for Monday

  • Devils -1.5 (+120)
  • Jack Hughes 4+ Shots on Goal (-145)
  • Paul Cotter Anytime Goal Scorer (+550)
  • Parlay Odds: +1700 at DraftKings

Devils -1.5 (+120)

The first leg of this SGP is simple: We're backing the better team to win in a route.

This pick is backed by NHL expert Nick Martin of Daily Faceoff, who tracked his pick in the Action App.

This is the second meeting of the season between the Rangers and Devils, and New Jersey won easily, 5-1, in their first matchup at Madison Square Garden back on December 2.

The Devils also enter this matchup on a rest advantage, having last played on Saturday. The Rangers are on the second of a back-to-back after losing to the Hurricanes, 3-1, at home on Sunday.

Jack Hughes 4+ Shots on Goal (-145)

Jack Hughes has only reached four or more shots on goal in four of his last 10 games. But when he gets there, he gets there easily.

In those four games, Hughes' SOG totals are 6, 8, 6, and 13.

The Scores and Odds Props Model likes Hughes to hit the over tonight, projecting him at 4.07 shots on goal tonight.

Paul Cotter Anytime Goal Scorer (+550)

The last leg of this SGP is the longest shot, but it's also what gives us such good odds.

Paul Cotter has seven goals this season, but he hasn't scored since Nov. 12. He's on a 17-game streak of not scoring a goal, and has just one assist during that span.

That assist that got Cotter back on the scoring ledger came just two games ago against Columbus, so it's possible he's coming back around after the lengthy drought.

Cotter has been known to get hot. Earlier this season, he scored four goals in a four-game span. He's also averaging the most time on ice of his career in his first season with New Jersey.

The Scores and Odds Props Model thinks the +550 line on Cotter netting a goal tonight is too long, setting the line at +384 instead, giving us an edge on boosting this SGP on Monday afternoon.
