READ: RAYS TO NOT BAT BOTTOM 9 Alt play -1: I wanted to toss another 3U MAX on glass now outs over, but his line is set to 18.5 instead of 17.5. So here’s my reasoning for backing the rays in this spot. Are the rays frauds? Yes. Yes they are. They’re 3-7 in their L10 but they did play the likes of the rangers and the orioles, two top five teams (crazy). Marlins are also frauds coming back down to earth and are 2-8 L10. Marlins are AWFUL vs RHP and only get offensive production vs LHP (#1 BA vs LHP). Glassnow is obviously a righty, and he’s actually been coming to old form as of late. Solid starts, solid velo, and he’s going deep. No reason for him to be set at 18.5 AND marlins tt to bet set at a full game 2.5. Books think Glass absolutely deals today and I agree. But, rays offense has been below average to say the least lately so I could see the rays sneak a very low scoring win. 2-1, 3-1. They should get the job done before the 9th and make the marlins bats look like triple AAA bums.
