We have a jam-packed Wednesday MLB slate, however, we’re forced to tip-toe around some questionable weather forecasts.

In an effort to stay creative and boost our ROI, I’ve crafted another mini MLB player prop parlay, combining two of my favorite picks.

So, here are my MLB player props for Wednesday.

MacKenzie Gore Under 15.5 Pitching Outs

Yankees vs Nationals | 6:45 p.m. ET

Finishing up his second full big-league season, MacKenzie Gore has had mixed results for the Nationals. After a strong start, the lefty has pitched to a 5.79 ERA (4.78 xFIP) in his 15 appearances since the calendar turned to June.

He’s stayed under in 10 of those 15 starts, and pitching on four days of rest today, there’s reason to believe he’ll continue on that trend.

On that rest cadence, Gore has remained under this line in eight-of-10 starts, pitching to a 5.80 ERA.

His control wavers on shorter turnarounds, with a walk rate that balloons to 11.8% while throwing 4.17 pitches per plate appearance.

This shouldn’t bode well against a Yankees team that takes one of the more patient approaches at the plate. The Bronx Bombers boast the fourth-highest pitches per plate appearance (3.96), the lowest chase rate (per Statcast, via FanGraphs) and the highest walk rate against lefties (11.9%).

Despite Patrick Corbin somehow shutting down the Yankees' offense last night, I’m counting on the bats to rebound against Gore.

Chris Sale 7+ Strikeouts

Braves vs. Twins | 7:40 p.m. ET

As the presumptive Cy Young favorite in the National League, Chris Sale continues his reclamation as one of baseball’s best pitchers. The southpaw has 191 punch outs in 147 2/3 innings pitched this season.

He’s cleared this line in 15 of his last 19 starts, and tonight represents a solid spot to add to his strikeout total.

The Twins have struggled against lefties in the second half of the season, with a 24% strikeout rate and a measly 84 wRC+ and .659 OPS.

Lefties with plus numbers in the strikeout column have excelled in this same spot since the All-Star break. Blake Snell, Tarik Skubal, Sean Manaea, Shota Imanaga, Cole Ragans and Max Fried all cleared this same line against the Twins.

I have Sale projected to clear this line before the end of the sixth inning.
