So far in three games a trend i’m noticing is opposing ball handlers vs. the Celtics are more welcomed to be a scorer than a facilitator by scheme and pull-up shooting available. The Celtics defenders are confident enough to play single and switch coverage, to avoid doubling and instead sticking to the opposing shooters. Both Al Horford and Luke Korner play drop coverage as a result in taking away the Duren lob passes as well. Tonight the Pistons will also be on a B2B with 0 rest coming from a high intensity match vs. the Cavs and with a double digit spread as underdogs, it could get ugly and limit upside.
