The Knicks take on the Bucks who have been reeling and are losers of three straight to the Wizards, the Grizzlies, and the Raptors. One player who should dominate in this matchup is Jalen Brunson. The Bucks have struggled all season long against lead guards, especially ones that can attack their drop defense. They lack strong point of attack defenders and it’s given lead guards plenty of opportunity to crush. In Brunson’s last five games against the Bucks he has averaged 37.4 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.4 rebounds. He has absolutely dominated. Tonight, the Knicks are in a must-win scenario of their own to avoid slipping down into the Play-In Tournament and their starters should see max minutes (as if there even is room for more with Thibs’ rotations). On the season without Randle, Brunson is averaging 30.1 points, 7.0 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game. This PR line is aligned with his season averages but doesn’t factor in the plus matchup. The Bucks just surrendered monster games to the following lead guards: Quickley (36 PR), McCollum (32), DLo (36). This is a great spot. I will gladly take Brunson to exceed 33.5 PR.
